Thanksgiving Dinners
We’ll be gathering in homes to share Thanksgiving Dinners on Nov 22nd. There will be meals in homes in Southampton, the Neshaminy Mall area and Bensalem. Sign-ups for which house you will go to and what you can bring to share will begin on Sunday.
Benefit Art Show / Concert
We will be hosting a benefit art show for the Eyes of Hope project on December 12. More details will be coming but set aside that evening for a night of community, art and a good cause.
Christmas Eve Gathering
We’re looking forward to our annual Christmas Eve gathering on Dec. 24. Following our tradition of the last four years, Gary Alloway will be preaching.
Small Groups
Wednesday Night Romans Bible Study
Our Wednesday night bible study on the book of Romans has been a blast! We’ve had a great time wrestling with this challenging book. Note: We meet at the Starbucks in Feasterville at 7:30pm.
Married Folks Group
BJ & Vince Caperelli host a group for married or soon-to-be-married folks that meets every other Saturday. Come anytime after 7pm, we’ll get started by 8pm, and meet until about 10pm. Please call the Caparellis with any questions or for directions: 215-489-2082.
Wednesday Night Women’s Study
Natalie leads a Bible study for women on Wednesdays from 6-7pm, in Croydon. Childcare is provided. Contact Natalie for more info: lion2710@netzero.com
Knitting Night at The Well
The 2nd and 4th Monday evenings of the month, 7:30pm. Women meet at The Well to knit and talk. If you don’t know how to knit, we’ll teach you!
Service Opportunities
Homeless Dinner
Saturday, November 14, 12 to 2 pm. Bristol AME, 254 Wood St, 19007. A casual, free thanksgiving meal for the homeless of Lower Bucks. Interested in helping out? Contact Gary at gaapsu@yahoo.com.
Hospice Volunteers
A few weeks ago a couple people from Crossroads Hopsice spoke about volunteer opportunities. There is a need for volunteers in the Bensalem and Langhorne areas.
