Snow Update – Dec. 20th
Worship Gathering Today
As we already noted, our formal worship gathering has been cancelled and we will have a small group style environment for those who can make it today.
Community Wide Service Project
Every one of our neighbors has the same need today: Snow! Shovel with them, shovel for them or surprise them by cleaning off their cars. Today is officially: “Really Easy To Love Your Neighbor Day.”
Cookie Exchange
If you come this morning bring your cookies and we’ll exchange what we have and if you can’t bring your cookies, please contact Emmy Graham and she’ll set up another time to make the exchange.
Today’s Offering
While we won’t be having a formal gathering today, The Well’s operational and ministry expenses continue. As we look to the end the year let me encourage you to continue to give towards our mission together. Historically, December is a difficult month financially for most churches. Canceling services due to inclement weather certainly doesn’t help. You can give dropping a check in the mail or you may also give online.
Christmas Eve Service
Join us for an evening of candle lit worship and reflection as we anticipate together the coming of the Son of God on Christmas Eve at 6:00pm.
Memorial Service for Katie Nolan
On Wednesday, December 30th, at 6pm, we will be remembering and honoring the life of Katie Nolan. Katie was a vital part of The Well as a community member and as a leader while she lived in this area. She was one of the climbers lost this past week on Mt. Hood. Romans 12:15 reminds us to “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn” so I encourage you, even if you didn’t know Katie, to come out and support those in our community who did.
