Worship Gatherings

We gather on Sunday mornings at 10:30am for our corporate time of worship at our warehouse in Feasterville, PA. You can get directions here.

Our Liturgy

We know “liturgy” is one of those “church words” that may or may not hold any significance to most of us. However, this word has been extremely important to the history of the church.

At The Well, when we use the word we are basically referring to all that takes place during our worship gatherings. We have what we like to call “liturgically relaxed.” We have many elements of a high church worship service but there is a very relaxed feel to how we do it.

For us, this includes:

  • Call to worship
  • Welcome and greeting each other - this can last up to 10 minutes
  • Singing and reflection
  • A Specific time for prayer
  • Communion (every week)
  • Preaching / teaching / discussion
  • Offering
  • Benediction.

It’s About Community

All too often, the things above are seen as “the things the pastors do.” While we agree that God calls men and women to lead and guide his people, we believe that when we gather together, what we do needs to be something that is representative of our community, not just a select few.

In fact, the word “liturgy” literally means, “the work of the people.” With this definition in mind, liturgy at The Well includes not only the pastors, but also all the people from our community.

How Does it Happen?

We have developed a “liturgy team.” This team is made of up those in our community that enjoy and are gifted to lead the different aspects of our worship services.

We believe that the Spirit of God is among his people. In order to hear the Spirit’s calling for us as a community, it is vital that we hear from the whole body.
